Tess Fairburn
Speech & Language Pathologist

I am a Speech Language Pathologist registered with CSHBC and certified through SAC. I completed my Masters in Science with The School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia and have been working in paediatric private practice ever since. Building rapport is a foundational aspect of my practice and I enjoy discovering what each of my clients are interested in and passionate about. Parents are experts in their children and I strongly believe in guiding parents to become their child’s best communication support.
I am certified in Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, and PEERS for Adolescents. I have recently attended courses on Executive Functioning by Sarah Ward, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and strategies for Small Talk and Conversation.
I am looking forward to working with you, your child, and the rest of your child’s team!

Diana Tran
Speech & Language Pathologist

Diana is originally from Calgary, Alberta and she completed her Masters of Health Science in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Toronto. After working in a variety of pediatric settings, Diana created Grow OnWords to offer families a supportive and empowering environment. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP for short), Diana believes in supporting parents to become their child's best language support while making therapy fun, engaging, and overall a positive experience for a child and their family.
With Grow onWords, families are able to book visits directly online without needing to commit to a set weekly time. This allows for families to book whenever they can come and take time off when they need it. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to participate during sessions so they can learn how to continue to support their child's speech, language, and literacy skills after the visit is over.
Diana provides SLP services in both English and Vietnamese.
